1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MyRent Solution ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MyRent Solution is a platform that matches renters with rental properties based on credit profiles. Our Service includes:

  • Credit report integration and analysis
  • Property matching based on credit qualifications
  • Property search and discovery features
  • AI-powered credit improvement recommendations
  • Property application management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 OAuth Authentication

You may sign in using Google OAuth. When you use OAuth authentication:

  • You authorize us to access your basic profile information (name, email) from the OAuth provider
  • You are subject to the OAuth provider's terms of service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth account
  • We are not responsible for any issues with the OAuth provider's service

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

  • For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
  • To submit false or misleading information
  • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • To collect or track the personal information of others
  • To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
  • For any obscene or immoral purpose
  • To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

5. Anti-Abuse Policy

5.1 Prohibited Activities

We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. Prohibited activities include:

  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or limits
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Manipulating or attempting to manipulate credit scores or property matching results
  • Sharing account credentials with others
  • Using the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or other malicious communications
  • Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

5.2 Email Abuse

We strictly prohibit:

  • Sending unsolicited emails through our Service
  • Using our email services to send spam or malicious content
  • Impersonating MyRent Solution or our users
  • Violating CAN-SPAM Act or other anti-spam regulations

5.3 Consequences of Abuse

Violation of our anti-abuse policy may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account
  • Legal action if applicable
  • Reporting to relevant authorities
  • Permanent ban from the Service

6. Credit Information and Third-Party Services

6.1 Credit Reports

Our Service integrates with third-party credit reporting services (SmartCredit) to provide credit information. By using our credit features:

  • You authorize us to access and process your credit information
  • You understand that credit information is provided by third parties and we are not responsible for its accuracy
  • You agree to the terms of service of our credit reporting partners
  • You understand that credit scores and reports may vary between providers

6.2 Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party services including:

  • Google (OAuth, Analytics, AI services)
  • Vercel (hosting and infrastructure)
  • Neon (database hosting)
  • Postmark (email delivery)
  • PostHog (analytics)
  • SmartCredit (credit reports)
  • GoHighLevel (CRM services)

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

7. Payments and Fees

Certain features of the Service may require payment. If you purchase a paid feature:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your purchase
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to change our pricing with notice
  • You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MyRent Solution and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Service without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Property matches are accurate or that you will qualify for listed properties
  • Credit information is accurate or complete

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYRENT SOLUTION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyRent Solution and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
